One thing we must understand all throughout this life is that we have an enemy that comes to steal, kill, and destroy our lives, our faith relationship with ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST, and anything else that will steal our Testimony of the GOODNESS OF ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST, Our BLESSEDLY-TRIUMPHANT CRUCIFIED AND RESURRECTED KING Of kings and LORD Of lords, JESUS CHRIST!
However, we have been COMMANDED BY THE HOLY SPIRIT OF JESUS CHRIST IN THE WORD OF GOD, How to Defeat the ALREADY DEFEATED devil (JESUS DESTROYED him and his works at THE CROSS AND IN THE RESURRECTION - ), and that is to first "submit ourselves unto GOD...". When we submit ourselves unto ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD, we then Receive the necessary Power to resist the devil and he shall flee from us. Someone might ask, "How do we resist him?" Well, I'm glad you asked! (smile)
When Our BELOVED JESUS CHRIST was being tempted in the wilderness by the devil, three times HE SPOKE THE WORD OF GOD AGAINST the devil. Our BELOVED JESUS KEPT REPEATING "It is written.." to every temptation. When we know the WORD OF GOD, and speak IT out of our mouths against the enemy, thus, submitting ourselves unto GOD, he will flee.
So, my "Dear friend" when you are going through some trial or test today, please take heart that Our JESUS CHRIST HAS ALREADY OVERCOME the devil, evil, and the world. Because we Place our Faith IN HIS FINISHED WORK AT CALVARY'S CROSS {JOHN 19:30}, and IN HIS THIRD DAY DAY RESURRECTION {JOHN 20}, we will show forth all of the necessary Faith in order to perpetually submit ourselves unto GOD, to resist the devil making him flee. "Dear friend", please be reminded that the devil is already DEFEATED. When CHRIST JESUS SAID "It is finished" before HE BOWED HIS HEAD AND GAVE UP THE GHOST {JOHN 19:30}, all of our sins; past, present, and future were placed on HIM.
We have a certainty of Eternal Life through our faith in THE SON OF GOD JESUS CHRIST, and my "Dear friend" nothing shall by any means hurt us. Amen? Amen! Dear children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. {REVELATION 22:21}"
