{16} “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. {17} “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. {18} “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. - SAINT JOHN 3:16-18 - HOLY BIBLE - New International Version
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world. - SAINT JOHN 16:33 - HOLY BIBLE - King James Version
Praise THE LOVE Of Our Eternal Lives, THE FROM EVERLASTING TO EVERLASTING {PSALM 90:2} ALMIGHTY LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST {SAINT JOHN 20:28}!
JESUS GREETINGS, fellow Christian,
The holiday season brings a sense or joy and exuberant expectation for all of us, especially our little ones, anticipating the gifts and toys that will be placed under the Christmas ensemble, in order that they'd enjoy, as with this week, major moments of "thanksgiving". Let's face it, I can recall as a youngster, rising early before my parents, and rushing downstairs, in order, that, I'd be able to open the presents as soon, or before, the rising of the sun.
With these thoughts in mind, I understand that there are some persons who may feel a sense of despair or hopelessness during these joyful seasons of the last two months of the present year. As one who has been privileged to abide in a Nursing facility for the greater of the last four years, I've witnessed first hand how some residents have no one to visit them on a consistent basis, and even my visiting one particular friend from time to time, not just brightens his day, but it brightens mine, as well.
In today's Foundational HOLY BIBLE Scripture, we see JESUS the Night before HIS TRIUMPHANT CRUCIFIXION {SAINT JOHN 19}, ADMONISHING HIS Blessed Disciples, EXPLAINING to them all that would shortly take place. In the verse prior to this Foundational HOLY Text, we see Our PRECIOUS JESUS CHRIST, Sadly Saying that all HIS Disciples will be offended in HIM that Night, and they will all be scattered, leaving HIM alone {SAINT JOHN 16:32}. However, the very next verse Decrees, that they, and, we, as well, are to "be of good cheer {SAINT JOHN 16:33}" no matter what we face, because CHRIST JESUS For us, Has Overcome the world.
Therefore, because, as with the earlier verses in this same BRILLIANT CHAPTER (ALL THE HOLY BIBLE IS MORE THAN BRILLIANT, OF COURSE, IT IS WRITTEN BY JESUS, HIMSELF!), Our JESUS DISCUSSES That HE WILL SEND THE PROMISE OF THE HOLY GHOST {SAINT JOHN 16:7-15}, we now after JESUS'S CRUCIFIXION {SAINT MATTHEW 27} AND RESURRECTION {SAINT MARK 16} HAVE THE POWER, THE LOVE, AND THE SOUND MIND {2 TIMOTHY 1:7} Needed to overcome in every situation, also Made Being fully aware, as we know the enemy of our souls the devil {1 PETER 5:8} is also aware of, that we have ALREADY overcome him by THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB (JESUS CHRIST), and The WORD of Our Testimony {REVELATION 12:11}.
So, is there anything getting you down? "Be of good cheer'. Are you concerned with which way to take? Ask JESUS for wisdom {JAMES 1:5-8}, and "be of good cheer" The OLD TESTAMENT Prophet Habbakuk saw very trying, difficult times, but listen what he says:
Although the fig tree shall not blossom, neither shall fruit be in the vines; the labour of the olive shall fail, and the fields shall yield no meat; the flock shall be cut off from the fold, and there shall be no herd in the stalls: {18} Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. {19} The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments. - HABAKKUK 3;17-19
Please remember that CHRIST JESUS LOVES You! HE Calls you the Apple of HIS Eye {DEUTERONOMY 32:10}. Therefore, when you are facing a trying time, as HE So Lovingly Whispered to me the other day, "Look Up", "your redemption draweth nigh {SAINT LUKE 21:28}."
Of course, this is mainly in reference to our BELOVED JESUS CHRIST Returning soon {1 THESSALONIANS 4:16}, however, I believe it is also Established as a doubly-Encouraging Word of Faith Commissioning us to "stay in faith" through any dire circumstance, for our HEAVENLY FATHER, JEHOVAH GOD, HIS BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT, AND THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS CHRIST - ALMIGHTY GOD - WILL COME To "bring" us out of our temporary detrimental circumstances unto the desired haven of HIS CHOOSING, or as the Beloved, Sweet Psalmist of Israel, King David calls it, our "wealthy place {PSALM 66:12}."
This wealthy place is not according to financial gain, but according to becoming all that Our LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST {SAINT JOHN 20:28} HAS, BY HIS LOVING PROVIDENCE, HAS SO GRACIOUSLY PURPOSED FOR us. Amen? Amen. "Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. {REVELATION 22:21}"
