The LORD'S Prayer

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. {17} For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. - SAINT JOHN 3:16-17

{9} After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

{10} Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

{11} Give us this day our daily bread.

{12} And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

{13} And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: 

For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen - SAINT MATTHEW 6:9-13

JESUS GREETINGS Family,

     Well, I trust that everyone had a Blessed 4th of July, and are living a life of Liberty and Freedom ONLY Found in a Relationship with our Heavenly FATHER Through our LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST {GALATIANS 5:1}!  Personally, I had a great day in the LORD and my beloved mommy enjoyed the day with me, as we endeavor to make preparations for me to leave this temporary nursing home, in route to my relearning how to walk, all the while I'm waiting on the LORD JESUS to renew my strength {ISAIAH 40:31}.

     With this in mind, today's JESUS CHRIST TRUE VINE MINISTRIES Blog Post focuses on our praying to our HEAVENLY FATHER.  This post focuses on the greatly familiar PRAYER that our LORD AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST Expressed to HIS Beloved Disciples affectionately entitled 'The LORD'S Prayer.'  So, what we want to examine in this particular post is what this AWESOME Prayer of Faith constitutes, and we will, with the HELP OF THE PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT {2 TIMOTHY 1:14}, accomplish just that.

     Well, the first lines of THE LORD'S PRAYER, I believe deal with identifying with the SOVEREIGNTY AND AWESOMENESS OF WHO ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD IS, "Our Father which art in heaven hallowed be thy name."  Hallowed be thy name identifies that our JEHOVAH GOD IS ABSOLUTELY HOLY, meaning HE Is Set Apart from all of us, and HIS Ways are higher than all of our ways {ISAIAH 55:9}.  The HOLY SCRIPTURES Also Proclaim that HIS WAYS Are past finding out {JOB 9:10 - King James Version, ROMANS 11:33}.  This giving ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD The GLORY Due HIS HOLY NAME, I believe is the way in which we are to start all of our prayers, as we acknowledge that we are helpless without our MAKER, MASTER, SAVIOR, LORD, AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST!

      The next Portion of the Prayer denotes the Truth that our JEHOVAH GOD IS A GREAT KING {PSALM 95:3, SAINT MATTHEW 5:35}!  It also invites what the great Prophet John the Baptist proclaimed, as well as our LORD, GOD, AND SAVIOR, JESUS CHRIST PREACHED, that The Kingdom of Heaven, or of GOD, is at hand {SAINT MARK 1:15, SAINT LUKE 16:16}.  It begins as such, "Thy Kingdom come.  Thy will be done in earth as it is in Heaven."  When we are able to honestly pray as our LORD AND GOD, JESUS DID in the Garden of Gethsemane, "not my will but yours be done {SAINT LUKE 22:42}", we will humbly invoke our HEAVENLY FATHER's Graciousness {EXODUS 34:6}, and lead lives that are submitted to HIS ETERNAL PURPOSE and WILL.

     Next, we enter the petition portion of the PRAYER, "Give us this day our daily bread."  This request is not solely for physical sustenance.  I believe that we'd do well to garner in the Spiritual Food given to us within the HOLY PAGES OF THE HOLY BIBLE, THE WORD OF GOD.  For JESUS Taught us when HE was tempted by the devil, that "Man does not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God {}."  These same words, JESUS (WHO IS THE ETERNAL GODHEAD), Gave unto Moses, the meekest man to walk this earth {NUMBERS 12:3}, under CHRIST JESUS of course, in the OLD TESTAMENT of The HOLY BIBLE {DEUTERONOMY 8:3}.

     Now we come to the portion of THIS LOVELY PRAYER, petitioning our ALMIGHTY LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST to Forgive us our sins {SAINTMARK 2:10}.  The HOLY WORDS, "And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors", shows us what JESUS Teaches that we are to forgive those who have done us wrong, even to the point of loving our enemies {SAINT MATTHEW 5:44}, if we desire our HEAVENLY FATHER to Forgive us {SAINT MATTHEW 6:15}.  Personally my friend, I desire forgiveness each and every single day.  I know you do as well.  Let's forgive all those who have in some way wronged us, and perpetually abide in an attitude of faith and love {2 TIMOTHY 1:13}.

     After we have acknowledged JESUS (THE FATHER, THE SON, AND THE HOLY GHOST) as our EVERLASTING FATHER {ISAIAH 9:6}, welcoming HIS KINGDOM on the earth, seeking HIS ETERNAL WILL, PURPOSE, AND GLORY, as well as requesting our Spiritual and physical meat, while asking for the forgiveness of our sins as we forgive others, we now come to one of the most important portion of This Awesome PRAYER, "And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil."

Let's face it my friend, we have an enemy.  The HOLY BIBLE calls him our adversary {1 PETER 5:8}.  We NEED the LORD JESUS CHRIST to fight our battles for us against this foe, however, JESUS Has Granted unto our person's the Power and Ability to "tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy {SAINT LUKE 10:19}."  We need to remember that the ONE Fighting for us is living on the inside of us {1 JOHN 4:4}, and because of that, we have all the POWER OF THE CRUCIFIXION {SAINT JOHN 19:30}, all the POWER OF THE RESURRECTION {PHILIPPIANS 3:11}, all the POWER OF THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST JESUS {HEBREWS 13:12}, all the POWER Of our Praise to CHRIST JESUS {SAINT MATTHEW 21:16}, and the POWER OF THE ASCENSION OF our DEAR SAVIOR {SAINT LUKE 9:51}, and the WHOLE ARMOUR OF GOD {EPHESIANS 6:10-17}to tear down the devil's schemes every time.

     So now we come unto the final portion of THIS POWER-PACKED PRAYER; "For thine is the Kingdom, and the power, and the glory. For ever. Amen."  This is reminding us of how we started THIS AWESOME PRAYER, Giving unto ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD, all the GLORY DUE UNTO HIS HOLY AND PERFECT NAME.  This last phrase of THE PRAYER Shows forth that all things are for CHRIST JESUS {JUDE 1:1}, THROUGH CHRIST JESUS {GALATIANS 3:26}, BY CHRIST JESUS, and unto CHRIST JESUS {EPHESIANS 6:5}.  Finally, the "Amen" simply means "Let it be so".

     Therefore my friend, let us be reminded when we say THIS PRAYER and other prayers that THE PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT Places within our hearts, that there is great power in our words.  JESUS Professes in SAINT MARK 11:23-24 That we will have "whatsoever we say" in faith.  Our  GREAT  MASTER, TEACHER, AND LORD Goes on to say "What things soever you desire when you pray believe that you receive them and you shall have them {SAINT MARK 11:24}".  So let's continue to pray to our ETERNAL HEAVENLY FATHER in Faith, receiving the end of our Salvation, which is eternal life {1 PETER 1:9}.  Amen?  "Let it be so - smile -".  "Little children keep yourselves from idols. Amen {1 JOHN 5:21}."
