JESUS Our TREASURE

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. {17} For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.  - SAINT JOHN 3:16-17

For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also. - SAINT MATTHEW 6:21

PRAISE THE LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST {SAINT JOHN 20:28}!

JESUS GREETINGS Family,

There is a reason to gather the family around the air cooling systems and open up a daily Bible Study regimen especially in these proverbial "dog-days" of the Summer!  Let's face it, it is hot outside, and I thank JESUS, our TRIUMPHANT LORD AND GOD, that we do have air conditioners and central air cooling systems in our several residences.

Of course I know it is always high time to read and study the HOLY BIBLE with family and friends, and these days, we are closer to the Return of our GREAT LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST than ever.  HE Has Promised to come again {SAINT MATTHEW 24:36-42}.  HE Has Warned us of perilous times {2 TIMOTHY 3:1}.  My friends, although there are many good things happening in our generation today, as with the growth of the Church with many souls being saved, these are also the prophesied perilous times.  Although we are to live our lives trusting in CHRIST JESUS, one day at a time, let's also remain in a perpetual state of awareness that HE Can come any minute now, as soon as our BELOVED HEAVENLY FATHER Gives This AWESOME COMMAND!  HALLELJUAH!  HALLELUJAH!  HALLELUJAH!

With these thoughts in mind, let us look further at the truth of what constitutes true worth to ourselves in this life.  It is certain that all of us want lives that are prosperous in every way.  Although we are not necessarily seeking to become millionaires, we do want to make sure our children, family members, as well as ourselves have everything we need pertaining to life and godliness {2 PETER 1:3}.  We wish to prosper and be in health, even as our souls prosper {3 JOHN 2}.  Friends, this TRUE PROSPERITY is not something so to speak, but in truth it pertains to SOMEONE, our ETERNAL TREASURE, our LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST!

In today's Foundational Scripture we see our TEACHER AND LORD {SAINT JOHN 13:13}, JESUS CHRIST, Decreeing the Truth that where our treasure is there will our heart be also {SAINT LUKE 12:34}.  This essentially means that what we hold in high esteem, we will center our thoughts and actions.  When we place the things of ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD in our first perspectives, we will accomplish acts and things that bring HIM, THE HOLY GHOST, AND HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS CHRIST ALL THE GLORY {2 THESSALONIANS 1:12}.  Furthermore, when we make JESUS, HIMSELF, our TREASURE, we will want nothing more than to bring HIM Joy in all we think, say, and do.

Let's face it folks.  This life on earth is short.  It doesn't matter if we live to see 150, we are going to leave this earth.  Therefore, it does us good to ensure that our Spiritual houses are in order {ISAIAH 38:1}, in order that we'd treasure what ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD Treasures, and seek first HIS KINGDOM, and all things we need on this earth shall be added unto us {SAINT MATTHEW 6:33}.  Brethren, when we place CHRIST JESUS First instead of worrying about how we're going to make it, HE WILL ALWAYS See to it that we come out on top.

Let's understand that we can do nothing in and of ourselves.  When we give JESUS all the Glory by concerning ourselves with things that please HIM, we are putting ourselves and our families in a position to not only receive all that we desire from our PRECIOUS HEAVENLY FATHER in this life, but to also ensure that our hearts are kept pure from the sinful filth that is in this world, as we endeavor to include in our thoughts the treasured WORD OF ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD, THE HOLY BIBLE, bringing things out of that treasure or storeroom both new and old {SAINT MATTHEW 13:52}.  "Little children keep yourselves from idols. Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}"
