Well, we are nearly eight months into the New Year, and before we know it, it will be time again for some new New Year resolutions. I pray, my friend, that as with me, the only New Year Resolution I have left, and which will continue to the rest of the New Years of my life, if JESUS Should Tarry {SAINT MATTHEW 24:36}, is to love the LORD my GOD more passionately every single day, with all my heart, soul, strength, and mind {SAINT LUKE 10:27}, becoming more intimate and acquainted with HIS PERSON {PSALM 139:3 - HOLY BIBLE - New American Standard 1977}! HALLELUJAH!
With this in mind, let me delve into a brief portion of my testimony if you'd be so obliged to hear. Thank you for your courtesy my friend (smile). In 2003 I began to have problems walking. After being misdiagnosed for approximately four years with my doctor stating that I had the debilitating spinal disorder 'transverse myelitis', I was informed that I'd always have trouble walking, but I'd get better and walk again. Of course, I told the doctor, not so {SAINT LUKE 1:60}, By Christ's Stripes, I am healed {ISAIAH 53:5, 2 PETER 2:24}.
Well, in 2007 shortly after my beloved Grandmother Bernice Lomax-Williams (affectionately called Grandma 'B') unfortunately passed, our GOOD LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST {SAINT JOHN 20:28} Gave me the Wisdom and Idea that I never really had a second opinion. Being from Washington, DC not too far from Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, MD; one of the world-renowned medical facilities, I decided to go there for a real second opinion. Well, fast forward 11 years and 5 spinal cord surgeries later, with three being major surgeries, I'm almost done relearning my gait, and this is the year I will walk again! HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH! HALLELUJAH!
This my friend brings us to today's Topic of discussion, "Is anything too hard for the LORD {GENESIS 18:14}?" Well, of course the answer to this question is an emphatic "NO!" We serve the GOD of all of creation. We serve the GOD of all flesh {JEREMIAH 32:27}. We serve the GOD that DIED on the CROSS and RESURRECTED from the Dead the Third Day {SAINT JOHN 19, SAINT MARK 16}. We serve the GOD that does "all things well {SAINT MARK 7:37}". There, of course is NOTHING, I mean NOTHING too hard for our JESUS to do!
When we think about the various trials and tribulations we go through as Christians, in this earthly existence, all of us have many testimonials of the GREAT GRACE of JEHOVAH GOD our HEAVENLY FATHER, THE SON OF GOD, our ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST, and our PRECIOUS HOLY GHOST {JEREMIAH 31:2, EPHESIANS 2:9}. As you may or may not know, depending on how far you are on your walk of faith, These Three PERSONS Make up THE FULLNESS OF THE GODHEAD BODILY, JESUS CHRIST {COLOSSIANS 2:9}! Although ALMIGHTY GOD Expresses HIMSELF in THREE PERSONS, let us not be confused HE IS STILL ONE {SAINT MARK 12:29}, as the HOLY BIBLE Testifies that there is ONE LORD, ONE FAITH, AND ONE BAPTISM {EPHESIANS 4:5}.
Because we understand that there is nothing too hard for our TRIUNE GOD, ALSO KNOWN AS THE TRINITY, there is nothing our adversary the devil {1 PETER 5:8}, or any adversarial circumstance we find ourselves in at any given moment that THE LORD, our GOD, JESUS CHRIST CANNOT REMEDY in order that we'd give HIM all the GLORY {SAINT JOHN 12:23, 13:31, 2 THESSALONIANS 1:12} Due HIS WONDERFUL NAME {ISAIAH 9:6}, making the masses aware that our GOD, the GOD of the whole earth {ISAIAH 54:5}, and the ONLY GOD, The GOD of The HOLY BIBLE Can, in and of HIMSELF, ACCOMPLISH all things for our good, not only because we love Him {ROMANS 8:28}, but mainly because HE so loved us, so much that HE GAVE HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON, JESUS CHRIST to SACRIFICE HIMSELF AND DIE ON A Roman CROSS, RESURRECTING THE THIRD DAY in order that we'd be saved {SAINT JOHN 3:16-17}.
Understanding that our ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD IS LOVE {1 JOHN 4:8, 16}, beckons our heartfelt cries unto HIM {JAMES 5:4} to get us out of any detrimental dispositions whether it be Spiritual, physical, mental, social, emotional, or financial.
It behooves us to think on these things {PHILIPPIANS 4:8}; the things that JEHOVAH GOD HAS ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED Within the HOLY PAGES OF THE HOLY WRIT, our BELOVED AND SACRED HOLY BIBLE, as well as the many things JESUS Has Done in our lives in the past, when we went through various trials and harsh circumstances.
It does us good to remember that this same JESUS {ACTS 1:11}, that was Crucified, Buried, Resurrected, and Ascended up to Heaven forty days after HIS VICTORIOUS RESURRECTION {ACTS 1:3}, is the SAME JESUS that Has so lovingly brought us out of every temptation and trial, and is in the process of bringing us unto the place of total victory as we continue to hold fast to our profession or confession of faith {HEBREWS 4:14, 10:23}, believing and KNOWING that HE, in Truth, is LORD AND GOD {SAINT JOHN 20:28}, and HE IS MORE THAN ABLE TO DO THE IMPOSSIBLE {SAINT LUKE 1:37}. For all things are possible with our ALMIGHTY GODHEAD {SAINT MATTHEW 19:26}!
So, what ails you today my friend? Please be encouraged no matter what it is. Remember, King David, one of the greatest Kings in the history of civilization, during a VERY trying time, "encouraged himself in the LORD his God {1 SAMUEL 30:6}". We too are called during the various troubles and struggles of life to do exactly the same. Our GOD is our FATHER {SAINT MATTHEW 23:9}! HE so Graciously is "ready to save {ISAIAH 38:20}." There is nothing out of HIS Beloved Reach to Heal or Treat.
One of my favorite Promises of THE HOLY SCRIPTURES Declares that ALMIGHTY JESUS our LOVING EVERLASTING FATHER {ISAIAH 9:6} "will restore" health unto us, and heal us of our wounds {JEREMIAH 30:17}. Because HE Has Promised to Heal us, let's place our faith and trust in agreement with HIS FAITH AND WORD in order that we'd see all the Promises afforded our persons in the HOLY BIBLE come to pass in our lives today! Remember JESUS CHRIST is "the same yesterday, and today, and forever {HEBREWS 13:8}."
Because we have proof that HE Has Healed in the Past, our GREAT PHYSICIAN {SAINT MATTHEW 9:12}, JESUS CHRIST, will also Accomplish our healing in today's times in which we abide. HE IS STILL and FOREVER WILL BE our HEALER! There will never be anything too hard for Him to do! Amen? Amen? I CAN'T HEAR YOU! Amen? AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! "Little children keep yourselves from idols. Amen {1 JOHN 5:21}."
