No Weapon

JESUS GREETINGS Beloved Family,

     All through our Christian lives, there are going to appear times of great adversity.  Let's face it, the HOLY SCRIPTURES speak of persecution for every believer in CHRIST JESUS choosing to live godly {2 TIMOTHY 3:12}.  Because JESUS Has already warned us of these things, it should then be no surprise that we are to undergo such adversarial conditions in this life that we lead.  However, knowing these things beforehand doesn't make them any easier to bear {GALATIANS 6:5}, thus bringing to the forefront the great fight of faith, that we are all destined by ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD to undergo.

     In today's Foundational SCRIPTURE, we witness the Prophet ISAIAH comforting us {ISAIAH 40:1} with the words that state that nothing the adversary, the devil, can cast in our direction can keep us from the promise and desired haven of the perfect WILL of ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD.  Because of JESUS'S TRIUMPHANT DEATH and equally TRIUMPHANT RESURRECTION {SAINT JOHN CHAPTERS 19 AND 20}, we possess all with need to "fight the good fight of faith {1 TIMOTHY 6:12}.  Our knowing that the devil is a liar {SAINT JOHN 8:44}, gives us the ability and fortitude to cast him and his lies down on the onslaught, thus bringing every thought he aims in our direction "captive to the obedience of CHRIST {2 CORINTHIANS 10:5}".  This knowing that our enemy aims to attempt to get us off course in our daily life, is all the knowledge we need to fight against his purpose, thus living a resurrected life, by Way of the Great GRACE of ALMIGHTY GOD, and ultimately fulfilling HIS Purpose.  Remember, the purposes of the LORD will stand {PROVERBS 19:21}.

     It must also be duly noted that as children of JEHOVAH GOD, This SCRIPTURE also attests to the fact that ALMIGHTY GOD is not the one bringing the weapon of adversity against us {ISAIAH 54:15}.  He is fighting with us and our our behalf {EXODUS 14:14}, not against us.  It does us well to understand that there are more with us than against us, as well {2 KINGS 6:16}.  The devil is no match for our GOD and for us as born-again believers.  His time is very short {REVELATION 12:12}, and as I heard one Bishop say, it seems as if the devil is pouring all he can on us at this particular moment, because he knows that his time is short with regards to attempting to hinder us, because ALMIGHTY JESUS GOD is READY to bring us out of all our distresses.

     Children of GOD.  Let's focus our attention on the great Power Given to our inner man, already, by Way OF THE FAITH in the SON OF GOD {GALATIANS 2:20} Given to us, in order that we might not only "war a good warfare {1 TIMOTHY 1:18}", but that we might also guide our affairs with discretion {PROVERBS 1:4}, all the while we are leading other souls to CHRIST JESUS, thus fulfilling the Great Commission {SAINT MARK 16:15}, while living and enjoying the "Abundant Life" in which CHRIST JESUS so willingly DIED and RESURRECTED to give us {SAINT JOHN 10:10b}.  "Little children keep yourselves from idols. Amen {1 JOHN 5:21}."  "The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. {REVELATION 22:21}"
