JESUS, Thank YOU FOR YOUR TRIUMPHANT DEATH {MATTHEW 27} AND TRIUMPHANT RESURRECTION {MATTHEW 28}! Fasting. This is something that Our LORD AND GOD JESUS CHRIST HAS BEEN ALLOWING Us to do since the beginning of time, in order that we would seek HIS MIGHTY VOICE and to Seek HIS FACE.
Some reasons for fasting from food, is to Get Closer TO ALMIGHTY GOD, To Receive GUIDANCE AND INSTRUCTION, or to Garner a better prayer life. When we fast, Our BELOVEDLY-TRIUMPHANT CRUCIFIED {MARK 15} AND RESURRECTED {MARK 16} KING Of kings and LORD Of lords {REVELATION 19:16}, THE ONLY GOD-MAN CHRIST JESUS, does not a"always" ASK Us to fast from food. Thank YOU JESUS For SAYING "AMEN {REVELATION 3:14}". I've just completed a 40 Day Fast from wrong thinking on the YOU VERSION HOLY BIBLE APP, With a daily Devotional from THE HOLY SPIRIT GIVEN TO Pastor Gregory Dickow.
The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us." - JOHN 4:25
In today's HOLY BIBLE SCRIPTURE TEXT, we See THE BLESSED HOLY SPIRIT OF JESUS THE CHRIST {JOH 15:26-27}, MEANING JESUS THE MESSIAH {JOHN 4:25} CALLING Unto Barnabas and Saul to do a WORK FOR HIM {ACTS 13:2}. It is interesting to note that this calling came AFTER they prayed and fasted. As I'm learning today, that we need to not just fast, but to pray while we're fasting, as well.

When we fast from food or something important to us, participating in such fasts should bring about a change in our relationship with JESUS CHRIST and others, as well. However, the real FAST THAT Our LORD GOD JEHOVAH HAS CHOSEN IS TO "set the oppressed free and break every yoke?{ISAIAH 58:6}". When we fast from wrong doing, treating others with THE LOVE OF CHRIST JESUS {2 CORINTHIANS 13:14}, we are more Pleasing TO ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST, then when we fast from anything, For THE LORD GOD JESUS CHRIST ALSO SAYS COMMANDS Us to rend our heart and not our garments {JOEL 2:13}.
Whoever believes in the Son of God accepts this testimony. Whoever does not believe God has made him out to be a liar, because they have not believed the testimony God has given about his Son. - 1 JOHN 5:10
So, my "dear friend {3 JOHN 1:2}", let's make sure that we seek GOD FOR THE Kind of Fast HE WOULD DETERMINE. HE IS CERTAIN TO NUDGE AT Our Hearts, GUIDING Us BY HIS PRECIOUS HOLY SPIRIT to know what, when, and how to fast! When we do Things ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD'S WAY, TO GLORIFY HIM AND HIS SON JESUS CHRIST {1 JOHN ,AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, we will come to Behold the Lovingkindness of our MERCIFUL LORD AND GOD JESUS {JOHN 19:30}, FOR THE GREAT LOVE THAT HE SHOWED ON CALVARY'S CROSS {JOHN 19:30} HAS COVERED A MULTITUDE of our sins {JAMES 5:21}, and IN AND OF HIS RESURRECTION {JOHN 19:30}, we FIND NEW LIFE!!!!! In JESUS' NAME!!!!!! "Dear children, keep yourselves from idols Amen. {1 JOHN 5:21}" "The grace of the Lord Jesus be with God's people. {REVELATION 22:2}"
