Fasting. Many of us in the Church, FOUNDED BY Our LORD JESUS CHRIST WHEN HE DIED {JOHN 19:30} AND RESURRECTED {JOHN 20} THE THIRD DAY FROM THE Dead {MATTHEW 17:23}, today still commit to fasting many a day in our Christian Walk. Some of us fast from different types of food or delicacies for a brief "season {2 TIMOTHY 4:2}."
Some of us fast from television or video games for a time. But what is the main reasoning behind our fasting? If we look back into Our BLESSED HOLY BIBLE'S OLD TESTAMENT, we will see that in times of great turmoil, Our Israeli Brethern Fasted unto JESUS CHRIST, Our CRUCIFIED {MARK 15} AND RESURRECTED {MARK 16} KING Of kings and LORD Of lords {REVELATION 22:21} in order that we'd attain unto HIS PERFECT GUIDANCE as to what to do in certain situations.
Some of us fast from television or video games for a time. But what is the main reasoning behind our fasting? If we look into THE OLD TESTAMENT BOOK OF Esther, we'd see that she fasted for three days and three nights when the enemy of the Jews came against them, and she needed to inform her husband, King of his plot:

However, if someone came unto the king without his permission , they could be put to death. This Act of Bravery from Queen Esther, shows forth that when we fast, Seeking for THE GUIDANCE OF ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST, Our HEAVENLY FATHER JEHOVAH GOD, and HIS PRECIOUSLY-TRIUMPHANT HOLY SPIRIT, we will not only Receive HIS BATTLE PLANS to Fight the Good Fight of Faith, but to also leasd Godly, CHRIST JESUS-GLORIFYING LIVES, That show forth to all tghe world that Our BLESSEDLY-VICTORIOUS AND TRIUMP.HANT LORD AND GOD {JOHN 20:28}, Our CRUCIFIED {MATTHEW 27} AND RESURRCTED {MATTHEW 28} SAVIOR {1 TIMOTHY 1:1}, AND BRIDEGROOM {JOHN 3:29} HAS IN TRUTH ONCE AND FOR ALL DESTROYED our enemy the devil and all his demons {1 JOHN 3:8}, and NOTHING shall by any means hurt us {LUKE 10:19}.
The bride belongs to the bridegroom. The friend who attends the bridegroom waits and listens for him, and is full of joy when he hears the bridegroom's voice. That joy is mine, and it is now complete. - JOHN 3:29
In today's FOUNDATIONAL HOLY SPIRIT INSPIRED HOLY BIBLE SCRIPTURE TEXT, we find That ALMIGHTY JESUS CHRIST IS COMMANDING Us to not solely Fast from food intake. HE SO LOVINGLY IS SHOWING Us that when we care for the needy, and do not oppress others, commit acts of violence, or anything that would displease Our LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST, WHO DIED AND RESURRECTED FOR Us, this is the fast He has chosen {ISAIAH 58:5}.
When they came to the place called the Skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals--one on his right, the other on his left. - LUKE 23:33
When we do unto others as we would have others do unto us, as Our BELOVEDLY-TRIUMPHANT COMMANDED Us In HIS NEW TESTAMENT FOUNDED On HIS ULTIMATE SACRIFICE AT THE CROSS {MARK 15} AND IN HIS TRIUMPHANT THIRD DAY RESURRECTION {MARK 16}, AND HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD THAT WAS SHED AT CALVARY'S CROSS {LUKE 23:33}, We Then HAVE A SURE FOUNDATION {ISAIAH 33:6} ON WHICH we can show forth THE LOVE OF CHRIST JESUS to a hurting generation that needs to KNOW that CHRIST JESUS CARES, and that we as disciples of Our LORD AND GOD, JESUS CHRIST, Love CHRIST JESUS, and them, as well.
He will be the sure foundation for your times, a rich store of salvation and wisdom and knowledge; the fear of the LORD is the key to this treasure. - ISAIAH 33:6
So, my "dear friend", when we come against trials and adversarial circumstances in our lives, it is not the time to give up. When we do these things, by "receiving {JOHN 1:12}" JESUS CHRIST AS Our LORD {JOHN 20:28}, KING {REVELATION 19:16}, MAKER {HOSEA 8:14}, HUSBAND {ISAIAH 54:1}, BRIDEGROOM {JOHN 3:29}, AND SAVIOR {2 PETER 1:3}, we are CERTAIN to Please ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD, all the while showing forth that we are "lights {JAMES 1:7, MATTHEW 5:14}" in the earth, and THE LIGHT OF JESUS CHRIST THAT ABIDES IN Us {JOHN 15:7} BY THE PRECIOUSLY-VICTORIOUS HOLY SPIRIT, THE INNER WITNESS LIVING WITHIN Us {JOHN 14:17}, we Shine Brightly in every dark place and Affect Change in a Land that I Believe ALMIGHTY JEHOVAH GOD DESIRES TO REPLENISH, RENEW, AND RESTORE!
